Off road from my usual posts – but ministry worthy I think!
What family do you want to bless this Thanksgiving? Who wouldn’t love to receive a cooked turkey handed to them this holiday season? What shelter can you serve? What neighbor have you been meaning to meet?
I got a Butterball turkey for $1, and let me tell you I jumped on this and went back for more. How much fun to hand out turkeys next week!
Coupons.com has a coupon for $3 off a Butterball Turkey when you buy three other items (which are not that expensive, esp with coupons). I bought three Pillsbury Crescent Rolls and used the current .55/three coupon attached to the Pillsbury container in store…or you can use .40/three coupon on the coupon.com website.
In addition, Butterball has been offering a $5 rebate on turkey purchases.
Target has their Butterball turkeys on sale for .99/lb and their Market Pantry turkeys on sale for .79/lb.
And if you go the Target route, download the Cartwheel app to your phone to get an additional 10% off their MK turkeys and money off of so many groceries. And the REDCARD gives you another 5% off.
Regardless of where you go to purchase your goodies (and I do like buying local) – can you grab just one extra something?
Who will we cause to give thanks this holiday?
Because hunger? It’s no stranger to your town.
